HI There,
I updated to 12.0.70 and the auto time stretch feature doesnt seem to be working anymore when i drag and drop a sample from the Media Tab in the arranegment window.
It used to be the case i could preview samples which are auto timestretched to the project BPM (this still works) then i could drag the sample into/onto an audio track and it would auto timestretch to the project tempo, it doesnt do this anymore.
I have checked Audio>Direct Offline Process and its set to Auto Apply as per photo below.
Musical Mode has a Blue X in it to show its active but the timestretching doesnt occour or its wrong.
Anyone got any ideas, seems like a pretty bad bug as it certainl;y worked in the previous version of Cubase Pro 12.
Direct Offline Professor had nothing to do with it.
Does the Audio Event start at the grid? Is this really the Audio Event what we can see in the Pool? You can see the Musical Mode option also in the Info View, what is much easier because you can see the selection and the info at the very same window.
If I get it right, you mean Musical Time Base on a track affects only the position of the events and not the time stretching of the event, right?
So let’s say I have musical mode off in pool for an event and musical time base on for a track. Then the event will not be time stretched, right?
I am not using these two at all but good to know
If the Musical Time Base is enabled, the Start Position is bonded to the Bars&Beats. If the Linear Time Base is enabled, the Start position is bonded to the Time position.
