I’ve already sent the log files to Steinberg. And this is the log file
Cubase 12-2025-03-18-224211.ips (76.8 KB)
When I try to apply pitch shift, it asks me this and I hit new version
Then it suddenly crashes EVERY SNIGLE TIME!
I just purchased Nuendo 13 to upgrade to 14 within grace period (haven’t installed it yet). If this happens also in Nuendo 14, can I get a refund?? It’s UNACCEPTABLE!
Hi,
The crash is in Cubase 12. I cannot see the details, because it’s an older version.
Could you download Cubase or Nuendo 14 and try it? If it still happens, could you attach the Cubase/Nuendo 14 *.ips file, please?
Could you try in the Cubase Safe Start Mode [Disable preferences], please?
Or even trash all Cubase version preferences folders (when Cubase is not running) to get the factory settings.
Cubase Preferences folders are:
Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/Cubase X
Win: %appData% \Steinberg\Cubase X_64
Where the X is the Cubase version (for example 1$).
I didn’t even bother to do the workaround in Cubase 12, but instead in Nuendo 14 it works. And so far no crash experience in couple days.
I hope Nuendo stays being stable…
