This is a big problem i would have liked to work like in Studio one, moving busses where i want, put them at the right part of the console, in Cubase Pro 14 it puts them at the left part and this is not the way it was in v 13. And also it’s a big mess if we want to move them we need to click the little dot in the visibility zones section and it put the busses completly at the right part after the main output. And then after, if we move them , it puts them back at the left part ! Seriously Steinberg ! This is not a good way of working with busses. You are behind presonus for that one. i am forced to export all tracks and import into another functionnal DAW. Will you care about us someday ? Please amazing Steinberg people, do something about that ! Thanx. :(((
Hi,
Could you please describe what you find different in Cubase 13 and Cubase 14 in this area?
In Cubase Pro 13, and i certain, the busses where always at the right part of the console.
in v.14, it puts some at the left part and some at the right part. it’s not a good way to work. I’ve seen some peeople not having this problem but i do. For some users, they didn’t needed to try to reorder them ,but for me it’s not the case, and that seems a pain in the a…, and finally it puts them back et the left part, Cant work that way, so the only way i’m gonna use Cubase Pro 14 is to create my project, work on it but not mix with it, i’ll then export my tracks and import them in another functionnal DAW like Studio one or Luna or even Ableton ! That’s enough. please people at Steinberg, do something for that. Thanx. :(((
maybe i should install v.13 in my new MacBook Pro…Maybe..i’m certain it would work fine but i would not be able to take advantage of the new features that comes with n v.14…So i bought it almost for nothing…So Cubase is not a DAW for mixing unless you want to scroll at the left and right part all the time, a problem that a lot of other DAW’s dont have as the only way to work with. That’s all ! :(((
You can put them there by choosing that side from the left menu. Nothings changed. Bit of a rant for nothing.
Calm down. Everything is still as it is in C14, so I assume it is some setting on your side that you are unaware of.
Maybe screenshot of the mixer showing the groups and the left zone with the Visibility tab would help?
Hi Johnny. Here’s a screenshot of the console view where you can see the zones and visibility. If i try to reorder the busses, from the list, it stays where they are in the list but
they are now with the dot at the right of their names and in the console view they are moved to the right part but after the main output track. You know what to do for that ?
Thanx for your help Johnny.

I think using the visibility zones and a tiny bit of manual reordering can get you where you want.
I tried to simulate your project a little bit.
See, I have assigned all the group channels to be on the right side (orange marking). I had to make sure that the Main Out (and my PreMaster channel, sorry for that one, just ignore it) are also on the right side. If you want the main out to be the farthest channel to the right, it might make sense to activate the sync between project and MixConsole.
This way, any ordering in the project will also be reflected in the Console. You can then move the Input/Output folder in the project list all the way to the bottom. That’s how I usually do it.
Hi again. I am able to put the main out completly at the right part of the screen and all busses at the left of it but there is a separation between all of these busses that i dont want.
is there a way to fix that or does also you and a lot of other users having that issue ? i would like to dont have that separation. it’s not a ig deal but i think it should better visually.
Thanx for your help. You been a big and kind help in this adventure for me. Thanx again.
;>)))
Hi,
I expect you are talking about the Zones…
In Cubase 13, as in Cubase 14, all Channels are always added to the centre Zone.
