Cubase Pro 8 crashes after update to 8.0.40

Hi,
I just updated my Cubase Pro 8 to 8.0.40 now it closes after a few seconds.
I use win 7- 64 bit.

Please let me know what to do next.

Some suggestions…

  • Make sure you have the latest eLicenser version installed and run it as administrator and do the maintenance routine.
  • Make sure Cubase is set to run as administrator.
  • You could delete the update from the “Programs & Features>Installed Updates” menu (if running Windows) to get back to your good running version of Cubase.
