I have installed Cubase Pro 9.5 on my desktop with Windows 10 but it does not produce any audio sound. My system has Realtek HD Audio that is my default audio. Having no success with Realtek I have installed a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface and made that my default audio in the hope that Cubase would produce sound but again no success. Has any Cubase Pro 9.5 users out there had the same problem. If so how is the problem solved?

Open Studio > Studio Setup (Devices > Device Setup) > VST Audio System. Select the ASIO driver here.
The problem is solved by setting up Cubase and your interface as explained in the manual, which involves chosing the correct driver as explyined by Martin, and connecting the Cubase busses to the correct Interface hardware ports.
