After years and years of what I considered underwhelming Cubase Pro upgrades, I am really stoked to check out all of the new features in Cubase Pro 14. The modulators and especially the new pattern sequencer are worth the price of admission alone, IMO.
The shimmer reverb and studio delay are icing on the cake. Even the new track volume plugin is a welcome addition.
So kudos and thanks to Steinberg for a terrific update!
My only complaint is that Steinberg STILL haven’t updated the Cubase arpeggiator to something more advanced. The Arpache SX arpeggiator MIDI plugin is ancient and dates all the way back to Cubase SX. I would love to see a new arpeggiator MIDI plugin along the lines of the arpeggiator in Spectrasonics’ Omnisphere plugin. That arpeggiator rules.
