hi, i’ve seen that this is quite a common issue, yet i cant figure out how to stop it.
so on booting of my computer i can open cubase fine and use it, but if i close it then i can’t open it again and it’s stuck on “initializing midi”, i’ve already tried reinstalling midi drivers etc, and i highly doubt my pc is the issue since im running 64gb of ddr5, r7 9800x3d and an rtx 5080.
i am currently using an akai mpk mini mk4.

Are you on Windows 10 or Windows 11? If you are on Windows 11, did you update the system recently?
hi, yes i did, im currently on windows 11. in addition to this i sadly can’t access any of my past projects cause they wont open
