I know that feeling. Last time I tried to ‘hold out’ and wait, I think I made it like 3 days and gave in and activated my updates hahaha. Same thing happened when I got my Groove Agent license. I knew 6 was due ‘any time now’, but it turns out that would’ve been about a year and man I wanted to finally edit my patterns directly in GA! 
Haha, good to know that I am not the only one… I have never even tried because I know I wouldn’t last more than a couple of days top…
