Hello…
I’m trying to record midi using an app called “Chordable”… I’m routing it’s output to the instrument track input… in Cubase… it seems to be quantizing the input so it’s removing any strumming and recoring only straigh chords as you can see in the attached video…any idea why this might be happening? Thank you so much !

Open your Transport Panel and see if you have Auto Quantize turned on.

I checked it. but it’s off…
this seems to be happening in one case… it doesn’t happen when I route midi from one Vst to another… it happens only when I route midi from and external app into Cubase…
How do you route the MIDI from this external app?
I use loopMIDI, which I find to be quite reliable, when I’m in the need of virtual MIDI ports.
Unfortunately it doesn’t work on mac… the problem seems to be from the app itself… although it’s working fine with all other DAW’s
