CuBase SL 3 on a G5 PowerMac Dual 2.3

Bit of a long shot but ever hopeful…,

I’ve been running CuBase SL 3 on a G5 PowerMac Dual 2.0 (Model 7,3) for ages now - it works well, can’t afford to upgrade to Intel.

I’ve just acquired a G5 PowerMac Dual 2.3 (Model 11,2) which I believe is as far as I can go on a G5 Dual without going liquid cooled.

Cubase 3.0.1 installs, but freezes when it tries to load and initialise the core audio, and when I try and run the 3.1.1.944 update it fails - cannot update the version of CuBase on this system. Yet it all loads fine on the 2.0

Am I missing something?
