Cubase suddenly won´t open my Yamaha Steinberg USB ASIO

Just out of the blue Cubase now won´t open my Yamaha Steinberg USB ASIO. It sticks with Generic low latency asio whick does not work properly with my projects. Device cound not be opened it says when I try to switch to Yamaha. I have tried the usual stuff. Deleter and reinstalled the Yamaha USB driver. Plugged in and out the hardware. Nothing works. It is now the sam problem in Cubase 10, 10.5 and 11 and in Wavelab 11.
What to do?

I would try to reinstall the driver (download the latest one, please). If you are in Windows, install it as administrator, please.

I have reinstalled the latest driver as an administrator. Did not solve the problem.

Did you also change the USB port, or just plugged in and out on the same port?

Now solved. Had to reinstall the whole Tools for UR824, not only Yamaha Steinberg USB Asio Driver. T
