Cubase SX 1: Copying automation from one track to another

Hi everyone,

Let’s say I have an intrument audio track (like an output of Kontakt for instance) with automated volume, pan and send.
I want to copy these automation to automation tracks of an audio track.
How do I do that?
In more recent versions of cubase, I would select the automation, then select the new track and paste the automation, but it seems to be impossible in SX 1.

Any advice?

At a guess, could you duplicate the track then replace the audio? (maybe)
