cubase uninstall & install.

Help please?
Due to issues of not enough RAM to handle all my VST’s, and cubase crashing,
I am forced to buying a new laptop.
Can anyone please tell me how to deal with unregistering cubase and uninstalling?
and then register and install on new laptop!!
Also, would like to know about changing over my VST softwares as well(native instrument/Steinberg?)

If you are using Cubase Elements/LE/AI (with Soft-eLicenser), you have to reactivate your license to the new computer. If you are using Cubase Pro/Artist, or if your Cubase Elements/LE/AI license is stored on the USB-eLicenser, you can just plug the USB-eLicenser to the new computer, and that’s it. You don’t need to uninstall it in any case.

Sorry for being stupid but not know what e-licencer is?

I got my cubase included with a Yamaha product I purchased (Dtx multi12 percussion pad)
Does this make a difference?

Hi,

In fact, e-Licenser is the holder of your license. When it’s Soft-eLicenser, then the license is stored on your HDD. Therefore you have to reactivate it on another system. A USB-eLicenser is a physical USB dongle.

You can manage your licenses in the eLicenser Control Center.
