Cubase 15 Pro does not find all of my VST’s, when I open the Plugin Manager to input VST drive locations, press the elipis button in the top right-hand corner, everything freezes,no chance to input VST location information.
Hi, @Mel_James
I guess it’s this one :

I have the VST2 activated and there is no freeze of any kind, here : the plug-in paths panel opens at the bottom of the VST Plug-in Manager window and clicking on the + button allows me to choose an eventual folder to add at to the folders list.
What is the plug-in that needs an additional path, and are you sure that it’s a VST 2.4 one ?
I actually did experience a freeze when hitting the cog wheel button (for the first time), but it only lasted for some seconds. It seems that Cubase starts scanning the VST2 paths at that moment, so if you have a lot of VST2 plugins there, it may simply take some time, or even forever if there is a plugin that hangs internally for whatever reason.
So perhaps it might be a good idea to check the VST2 default paths and remove all the plugins you don’t need anymore (apart from those not supported anymore, pretty much all current plugins have VST3 versions anyway, which should be used preferably since VST2 is obsolete). Maybe that helps.
