Before, I used to use the same Cubase/wavelab without the need of USB elicenser, now, after I switched from my pc to laptop, I have to put licenser USB in, every time I want to use either program, and it’s quite a hassle. Is there any way to avoid this? I’m afraid I will either lose the licenser sooner or later, or break it accidentally. plus its taking up my last USB port.
Once a license is transferred from soft-eLicenser to USB-eLicenser, the process is not reversible.
I’m assuming, this is what you have done?
If your licenses are on USB, the dongle needs to be plugged in to use the programs.
