Cubase won't let me import video files

Hello everyone, so I have to score the music for my animated short film and for that I want to import it into Cubase. I have Artist 12. But when I try to import a video it does absolutely nothing - not even an error message. When I try to pull them in from out of the directory, Cubase won’t let me. I thought it might be the file format, because Cubase only allows certain file types, but I already tried it with different formats and there is always he same problem. What to do?

The file I tried to import should be the right type, but the problem is still the same. Any suggestions?

I figured out that other videos, but not the one I need, can be imported to cubase. Even though they have the same codec. I have cubase on a windows pc, but I exported the video on an Apple PC that runs Mac. Can that be a problem?
