CubasePro11: same thing. But CubasePro10…: no problem! And when I remomve Izotope and save, then it opens in 12. So It seems related to Izotope. But maybe to Halion Sonic SE. I cannot find any info about this fault.

Hi,
Attach the *.ips/DMP file, please.
Hello, I just had the crashes again and tried to find the file you ask for, but I can’t. Can you direct me to the right folder?
Hi,
Mac: macOS Console utility > Crash Reports (or ~user/Library/Logs/Diagnostic Reports).
Win: %userprofile%/Documents/Steinberg/Crash Dumps
Thank you. There appeared to be only dmp-files form before the problems at hand. So I tried to install the Izotope plugins again. I did that also before I posted the problem here, but then it did not work. But now it does. It took me 1,5 hour and now it seems to be okay again. (Must say it is strange that izotope also installs aax-versions, since i don’t use protools.) Thanks for your replies and help.
Hi,
The installer doesn’t know which DAW do you use. Most of the installers offer to customise the installation, so you can choose which plug-in version to install.
Yes, I know. But this goes through their product portal. In it’s settings I haven’t found an option for choosing the versions one wants to have installed. Also Vst2 gets installed. I want only Vst3 whenever possible, for obvious reasons.
Hi,
To me it sounds like a bug in the plug-in installer. It has nothing to do with Cubase. Pleas, get in contact with the plug-ins vendor.
There appears to be settings in their Product Portal where you can choose for custom installation. After choosing for that an installer pops up every time, in which you can choose what version and so you want to have installed. Imho this should be the default setting in the Product Portal. But of course this is up to izotope.
