Hi, I’m Dominik from France. I’m a guitarist using backing tracks live. I’d like to simplify my actual gear, may be buy an iPad instead of my Mac Book Pro. I think it would be easier to carry and use on stage.
But… Will Cubasis on iPad be able to send midi program changes to my Fractal Audio Axe FX 2 as Logic Pro can do it on my Mac Book ? In Logic, I just create an audio track with my backing tracks and a midi track with my CC and program changes sent to the Axe FX. The Axe FX is used as a sound card.

Cubasis comes with MIDI CC support.

Yes, Cubasis is able to send midi program changes.
I test it with Cubasis 2.1 and Motif ES 8 external keyboard.
The Motif ES 8 receive all program changes wich are created with the draw tool inside the cubasis midi track.
- Cubasis send eg PG 48 > the Motif change to program 49
- Cubasis send eg PG 35 > the Motiv change to program 36
