Cubasis 3.3.4 Android. UR22C Interface - No sound

Can we conclude that you don’t test on anything?

Hi @Musicmad,

Can we conclude that you don’t test on anything?

Cubasis for Android and Chrome OS offers limited audio and MIDI hardware support only, Steinberg does not currently guarantee full compatibility.

The performance of Cubasis for Android is strongly related to the device(s) and components in use.

We’ve released a freely downloadable Cubasis trial version, which also can be used for compatibility checks with your given device(s).

Best,
Lars

Ok. Surprised that you don’t test your app on any devices. That’s your choice though.

Hello,
I had many issue has well, for weeks, months… now I recently found that the following works for me:

  1. Power the UR22C with micro USB (flip the switch on the back too)
  2. Connect USB-C to your phone, here is a Samsung A71 with Android 13
  3. start Cubasis with Midi disabled and UR22C pre selected as input and output source.
Any other combination is an issue here =] and I’m not touching anything now that works well!

Which phone are you using?

Hi @leonardosalvatore, Hi @Musicmad,

With the release of Android 13, Google introduced a serious audio issue, which is described in the following support article (which includes the workaround to disable MIDI in Cubasis as chosen by @leonardosalvatore):

Hope that helps!

Best,
Lars

Yep, I disabled the MIDI , it’s written at my step 3

Today I purchased a Lenovo P11 and Cubasis works there too without any issue.
Finally!
