We are sorry to read about your download issues.

Please give the following steps a try:

  • Log off from the App Store
  • Shut down all running apps
  • Fully shut down the iPad/iPhone
  • Reboot your rooter

Does this help to resolve the problem once you’ve relaunched everything afterwards and logged onto the App Store again?

I searched there, starting from the app hub, but what I see was (still is) the price indication and the word ‘more’ on the right; if I click one of the two purchasing starts and I still don’t see any info about space… :thinking:

Hi.

The only solution was to delete the Cubasis 3.6 app from the iPad and reinstall it after restarting.
Halion could then also be installed. :+1:

Strange that a full reinstall was required, @essmx101! Should not be the case normally! We hope you enjoy using Cubasis with your new instrument!!

I don’t see the downloads available in the store. I am using the full version of Cubasis, but purchased through the Cubasis LE IAP. Is the store different on the Upgraded LE?

Hi @OldOakStudio

Cubasis LE 3.6 has been released in parallel to Cubasis 3.6 this morning.

Please give the following steps a try:

  1. Launch the App Store app.
  2. Tap the small icon located top right, to open the “Account” pop-up.
  3. Tap “Purchased” and look for “Cubasis LE”.

Here you should see an “update” button next to the app.

I have issues downloading Halion Sonic Selection after purchase. I have enough space of over 50 GB on my iPad and good internet. What could be the reason I am getting “Download failed” message?

I’m having the same problem with the Halion Sonic Selection download. It feels like the server is overloaded.

Hi Nai,
Please DO NOT delete and reinstall Cubasis until you go into your Files app, tap On My IPad, search for the Cubasis folder, tap to open it, tap SELECT and select Projects, copy this folder and paste it elsewhere in your Files app, now you can continue with the reinstall. There is a good chance your projects will return anyway if you are on iCloud, if not you can then open the saved Projects folder, copy contents and re-paste in the newly installed Cubasis/Projects folder.
It’s better to be safe than awfully and indescribably devastated by loosing all that work :wink:

Sat here for 5 hours or more trying to download HALion Sonic Collection, but each time after 10% was download this same message was repeated all night long -

Make sure that your device is connected to the internet, that there is enough free space on your device, and try again.

I constantly rebooted my iPad Air 4, constantly cleared cookies, there is 127Gb available space.
After 5 hours it finally finished downloading and went into Installing mode :confetti_ball::clinking_glasses:, but after 1/2 hour of no activity I checked to see if HALion was ready, but Cubasis was frozen, I closed and reloaded Cubasis, tapped Shop and discovered HALiun had to be downloaded again, which it is still doing, my mistake, —— ——-

From 10pm to now 3.22am…….and no success, WHY?

I saw somebody else having problems downloading halion and they vpn’ed to germany and everything went as normal… maybe an idea to try.

The thing is, I downloaded and installed it on my iPhone 13 Pro Max with no issues, tried the iPad again but after 10% download it failed again?

At last! Finally downloaded and fully installed, only took 7 hours 18 minutes!
Now to sleep :yawning_face::sleeping:

Virtual private networks… basically if you vpn to germamy you download from the German server…
You could try reinstalling cubasis if everuthing fails, maybe the update didnt sit well.

Btw this problem is not super uncommon with updates and downloading new content inapp.
It suxx

I had no problem updating and installing halion on android but im next to germany so im close to the source i guess.

Thanks Lars, great news for us Mobile/Portable music producers. I’ve just purchased and in the process of downloading the full set of Instruments onto my iPad Pro 6 Gen (9.7") and iPhone 11.

Ah well… Nevermind! Finally got it to download but after a clean install of Cubasis. But lost all my projects. Love and learn eh. Thanks for all the help. It’s appreciated!

I had the same problem on iPad and iPhone via WiFi - changing to my 4g connection solved it (but was slower to download) :smiley:
