Cubasis 3.7.5 and UR44 interface

I am trying to connect my UR44 interface to my Android Tablet. I can physically connect them with a USB A to USB C adapter. However when I do, The UR44 Power Light stays on but Cubasis does not recognise the UR44. What am I missing?

Any Ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks for your message.

In previous testings, the UR44 worked fine with several Android devices. However, the performance and available options of Cubasis for Android are strongly related to the Android device in use.

Below please find a few things to try.

  • Try a different USB cable
  • Use a high-quality USB-B to USB-C cable instead of the OTG adapter
  • Close all apps
  • Restart the device
  • Try both sequences: First start Cubasis, then connect the UR44, or vice versa.
  • Update Android
  • Disable Setup / Audio / Studio Quality
  • Is the UR44 selectable in Setup / Audio under Output Device and Input Device?
