New in Cubasis 3.7.6

  • CBT-4183: Stopping a long audio recording with multiple tracks no longer causes Cubasis to become unstable.
  • CBT-4185: Fixed an issue where importing a very large audio file could make Cubasis unresponsive.
  • CBT-4174: Resolved an issue where using certain effects produced unwanted audio artifacts with audio interfaces.
  • CBT-4186: Fixed an issue where importing a Bitwig DAWproject file with a tempo track caused the Cubasis tempo track to break.
  • CBT-4172: Freezing many tracks no longer results in events on the first frozen tracks to appear unfrozen.
  • CBT-4184: Corrected a mislabeled UI articulation button in the Iconica Sketch Bass Clarinet preset.

Ive just installed Cubasis 3.7.6 on my Samsung Galaxy which is running Android 14. Whenever i try and add a drumloop to an audio track, Cubasis closes and i get an error message saying “This app has a bug”. I have tried rebooting the tablet and have had the same problem every time i try to do this.
Is this a known bug?

Hi @Andy_Chapman

Please give the following steps a try:

  • Close all apps, including Cubasis.
  • Fully shut down your Android device (turn it off).

Does Cubasis work as expected once you’ve restarted your Android device and launch Cubasis with an empty project?

Best,
Lars

Hi Lars

As you’ll see from my original post - yes, i did try turning the tablet off and restarting it but it made no difference im afraid.

Andy

Thanks Lars! And thanks to the developers for fixing the bug with the display of frozen tracks CBT-4172.
Now everything is perfectly visible, that the frozen tracks are gray with a snowflake.

Hi again Lars

Just to be clear-i have tried doing exactly as you suggest ie closing all apps, powering off my Galaxy, turning it back on and loading an empty project i to Cubasis. I can load MIDI clips from the media library and i can load instruments. I just can’t add drum loops to an audio track. As soon as i try to, Cubasis shuts down.

Hi @Andy_Chapman

Your issue has been shared with our engineering and will be evaluated.

Best,
Lars

Hej
I can confirm Andy’s bug finding.
I’m on Android 15 on a Sony Xperia.
It’s only the Cubasis Drumloops that is a problem - I can add from my own files with no problem.
Best regards
Bo
