Please share a short clip with us, which shows the steps leading to the issue. In addition, a project which allows our engineering reproducing the problem would be helpful too.

Hi everyone!
Did anybody meet the same problem after update? When I press stop button instruments are going on to sound. It’s like they have a big release in the settings. (both internal and auv3 instruments). This issue is on my iPhone and iPad.
P.S. There is no big release and sustain pedal on instruments.
Solved:
Function “Return to Start Position on Stop” works incorrect. After switching it off release/sustain effect is gone.

What is the best way to share files with you?
Also, are you wanting to have a mixed down file that has the instruments playing incorrectly and and older file with them in the mix the right way. Or ae you wanting a screencast video showing what is happening?
Additionally, the project file is large, would it be best to duplicate the project, then narrow it down to a shorter clip of where the issue lies?
Thank you for such a quick response. I started using Cubasis last year and have slowly been teaching myself how to make a produce my songs. I still have a long journey experimenting and researching how to properly make a mix, but using Cubasis has been amazing. Thank you so much for all the work and your team have put into this product.

Thanks for the big update for Cubasis. Unfortunately Iconics Sketch isn’t usable for me because of the big reverb, which is inbuild in the sounds. It’s impossible to have a clean solo instrument without reverb and it’s very difficult to mix the sounds with other instruments, because the big reverb gives the mix a predefined room situation.

Thanks for sharing the workaround to disable “Return to Start Position on Stop” setup option to get around the hanging notes issue.
The issue is planned to be resolved in the next update.

Hello, I purchased Iconica Sketch and want to use it with Cubasis 3 and my iPad (OS Version 17.6.1). However, I am unable to hear it. Other sounds play without difficulty so I am assuming the problem is because I need to register it. But I don’t see how to accomplish that. My receipt doesn’t include instructions for doing so. Please advise how to register it.

Please note that you first have to download the 1.8GB sample content to use Iconica Sketch.
Please follow these steps:

If you want to use the stand alone app version or AUv3 plug-in: Please launch the stand alone app version, and tap the 1.8 GB content download button.

If you want to use the Cubasis plug-in version: Make sure Iconica Sketch and Cubasis 3.7 are installed.
- Launch Cubasis and open the In-app shop.
- Scroll down to the Iconica Sketch entry and tap the install button.
If the problem persists: Please close all open apps (including Cubasis and Iconica Sketch), and fully shut down your iOS device.
Does everything work as expected once you’ve relaunched your iOS device and the apps?

Well, maybe pattern sequencing as well 
I was thinking of buying Iconica but noticed that it requires iPadOS 17.2 or later. My home 2nd Gen iPad Pro 12.9, on which I do all of my Cubasis work, is at 17.7.10, and I’m not sure how many more iOS updates it will get.
Will future updates to Iconica require newer iOS? Or is that not a factor beyond functionality? Hopefully someone knows before the sale ends tonight.

However, I am getting back to music and have followed your instructions without success. I prefer the plug-in but would like to have either option available.

Both Iconica and Cubasis 3.7 show on my iPad home screen, and I can access Iconica via the app and through the media bay.

In the in-app shop, it shows that the plug-in is installed. When I click on “More,” I know that I have downloaded the 1.8GB of content, because the only option offered is “Delete 1.8GB.”

I have recorded a few piano notes in Track 1 and Iconica Celli in Track 2. I can see MIDI input on both tracks. I see the Iconica icon in the mixer channel.

When I play back, however, I hear only the piano. The celli track even shows the notes I entered “playing” in the Keys view, but there is no sound - even when I mute the piano.
I’m sure the answer is simple but I’m missing it. Please advise.

I don’t have Iconica Sketch but I’d still suggest deleting and re-installing Iconica Sketch as the new version apparently uses a shared location for the sounds so there’s no need to download the sounds twice for both stand-alone and Cubasis built-in one.
(ie. only download the sounds for the stand-alone app/AUv3 version after re-install).

Please make sure to uninstall both the Iconica Sketch standalone app and the Cubasis plug-in version of the instrument. Once both are removed, shut down your iPad completely (power it off), wait a moment, and then restart it.
Make sure to download the latest available Iconica Sketch and Cubasis updates (since the content only needs to be installed once after that).
What happens if you install both app versions again afterwards?

Thank you for the instructions. My Cubasis was already updated, but I uninstalled and reinstalled the Iconica versions and am happy to report that I finally have sound. Looking forward to using it!
