Alongside, you might give it a first check if enabling MCU & HUI support already works, to connect your NI device in use with Cubasis.

In that case, I’d suggest to exchange with NI about the problem.
We’re at hand to have them equipped with Cubasis 3 promo codes for testing purposes, if required.

I have tried Cubase Elements 11 as a Test version. Do you know if it is possible to upgrade (or get at least a discount) from Cubasis 3 to Cubase Elements 11?

There are no update/upgrade options from Cubasis to Cubase.
