Cubasis 3 Midi Keyboard USB Legacy Driver Support?

Long story short, I have an M-Audio KeyRig 49 MIDI Keyboard that won’t be recognized by Cubasis 3 on the OnePlus 6 running Android 10 but will be recognized by FL Studio that’s running an earlier version and other various MIDI apps.

My phone supports OTG and other MIDI apps off the Play Store are able to pick up my keyboard.

After trials and tribulations, I’ve come to realize that maybe Cubasis 3 doesn’t support USB 2/USB 1.1 connection. (which is what M-Audio KeyRig 49 connects with)

Will there be support for these types of connections? I’ve just recently bought this keyboard (off-hand) and app and I don’t want to buy a new MIDI keyboard just to connect to Cubasis 3 when I have one that can connect to other MIDI apps and DAWs.

Pls help. :sob:

Hi clydebelmont,

Unfortunately we are not equipped with the M-Audio KeyRig 49 ourselves, to give the issue a repro.
Since Cubasis supports the Android MIDI API there should be no problems, to use the MIDI device with Android.

I’d suggest to get in touch with M-Audio regarding the topic.
We are at hand to provide them with promo codes for testing purposes.

Best,
Lars
