Cubasis 3 price difference Android vs iOS

Can anyone explain the difference in price between Cubasis 3 on Android - £24.99 (Google Play Store) and iOS - £49.99? I switched from a Galaxy tablet, where I’ve collected C3 and all its plugins, to an iPad and hadn’t taken account of the cost to replace with iOS versions.

Has anyone tried Cubasis 3 with an Android emulator on iOS - is this even possible/legal?

Hi ChrisW,
Unfortunately you will need a new version from the App Store to run on iPad

Thanks, that’s helpful. The full fat iOS Cubasis definitely looks worth the extra.

You are right there, a similar comparison with sewing machines would be a basic hand operated machine compared to an electric zig-zag double needle automatic machine.
Sadly you missed the May Cyber Sale when Cubasis had 40% off and 50% off IAP’s, the sale before that was in November 2022, so it may be worth hanging on a while

Thanks again, I’ll definitely wait for the next sale and keep my elderly Galaxy Tab going in the meantime.

Hi @ChrisW,

Thanks for your message.

Cubasis for iOS offers more features (compared to the Android version), which are caused by several limitations of Android.

For more details, please refer to our Cubasis feature comparison chart.

Hope that helps!

Best,
Lars

Thanks Lars, I’m looking forward to getting iOS Cubasis before too long. It’s nice to see the old name revived, Cubasis VST was my first Steimberg purchase.
