Cubasis De-esser?

Does Cubasis have a de-esser?

Hi @squirrelly.hurley,

Thanks for your message.

Cubasis does not include a De-Esser plug-in.
Please find all available features listed on the Cubasis comparison page.

Hope that helps!

Best,
Lars

Please put that on the list of futures

If you’re on IOS, there are many good de-essing plug-ins available. Search on the App Store and you’ll find many choices that will work just fine in Cubasis.

@dovjgoldman I can’t figure out how to use them. I bought the de/esser from 4pockets but cannot figure out how to add it to my chain of effects and it doesn’t show up in my midi list

@squirrelly.hurley here are the steps:

  1. Close Cubasis
  2. Run the downloaded app once (this “installs” Auv3 plug-ins so they became available to hosts like Cubasis on your IOS device)
  3. Open Cubasis again
  4. In “Insert Effects” for your track pick an empty line and click
  5. On the bottom left you should see a list of options starting with “None” and below it “Audio Units.” Click on Audio Units and select your new plug-in.

Let me know if you need more help. If need be I’ll make a short video.
