Is anyone having problem with high CPU usage of Cubase 14 pro when using BBC Symphony Orchestra. I’ve go around 20 tracks with different instruments and all of a sudden everything got extremely slow. Closing and opening the session takes many minutes and working on it is impossible. I haven’t had any problems until now but havent had as many tracks as now to be honest but still…I’ve deleted all effects i had on the tracks but nothing changes. Any ideas? Thanks you

It might help if your describe what OS you’re using and a little bit more about your computer’s specs, interface etc.

When you open Taskmanager, click at left button “Performance”, click left button “Memory”.
What does it say?
I have a friend who had the same problem a few months ago. It turned out spitfire messed something up in one of their recent updates. With the help of the support from spitfire, he downgraded to an older version of the spitfire player and that fixed it for him.
Reach out to spitfire support and see if they can help you.
(But it might also be just memory overload. If you haven’t used 20 tracks before and you’re now hitting the limit of your available RAM, that would also result in the behaviour that you described)
