some of my lyrics are not displayed when setting up a cue. Probably, because the cue ends in the middle of a word?

That’s correct: any notation that extends beyond the end of the cue will not be included in the cue.
ok Daniel, so when notating a cue, the lyric of a complete word is seen as one unit somehow.
