Cue notes question:
Is it possible to have the ob1 dotted half note only show as a dotted quarter?
And is it possible to hide just the last quarter rest of the cue?
Both things i find rather irritating for the player
You can’t change the duration of notes shown in cues, and I don’t think that would be a good idea in general anyway. Possibly you could add a laissez vibrer tie to show that the note continues sounding beyond its written duration, but I think it’s much clearer to the player to show the actual duration, since the note will still be sounding when he or she plays the entry. Take a look at the Notation Options dialog for options concerning padding cues with rests.
