The Shift U cues function has been a real blessing for me lately. Strangely, it doesn’t work for the bass drum instrument in my project. Bass drum is played by percussionist 2. When percussionist 2 plays other instruments, the cues work just fine…
Any ideas?

By “it doesn’t work” I mean I press shift u, start inputting the instrument name that I want but the instruments don’t appear in the list…
Just noticed that the same is true for when percussionist 2 plays maracas… The only instrument suggestions are other percussion instruments…
Unpitched percussion staves can only show cues from other unpitched percussion staves. I’ve previously used a workaround whereby I give my percussion players a pitched instrument into which I cue other pitched instruments. As long as cues are the only thing present on that staff, the score won’t show instrument changes from the percussion stave to the pitched stave and vice-versa.
