I am in the end of preparing parts for an opera production where I often need cues with lyrics included. I ran into a situation where there is a recitation note, a breve, with several words on it that I left aligned to make it look right in the score. So far so good. But when I create a cue of this, the lyric on the breve goes back to centered.
You won’t be able to do that, I’m afraid, since you can’t adjust the horizontal or vertical delta of items that are included in cues. You may need to make that cue the “old-fashioned” way, i.e. copy and paste the actual material and set it to be cue-sized.
