Cursor move outside of project timeline when modulators activated

SO very very weird. Never seen this behaviour before. Just added a modulator to a track and now the cursor is playing left of my timeline OVER the channel side panels..

a reboot of Nuendo fixed it, but will keep an eye out for this one.
