Cursor not snapping to grid

Hi there,

Moved this from the other forum with an update

I’m hoping this is a facepalm situation, btu I cant for the life of me work out what I have done that is stopping the cursor snap to grid. As far as I can tell all my settings are correct and all events snap fine, but as you can see from the transport at the bottom, it just isnt snapping. Anyone have an idea about what might be going on?

(addition: this only seems to apply to the preference “Locate when clicked in empty space”. Previously this snapped to grid just like clicking in the timeline bar. I have reset preferences but no joy)

Am I the only one this is happening to?

It is happening to me as well. I losing my mind trying to figure it out. I`m new to Cubase and the more I use it, the more I wonder if I actually need VariAudio, the sole reason I’m using it.
