I have created a custom symbol in Playing Techniques that is invisible until I click on it, see the picture. I thought it was a bug, but it still remains when I upgraded till Dorico 6 Pro. Am I doing something wrong?

Unfortunately, when you use a graphic as a playing technique, Dorico is unable to change its colour when it is drawn in the panel. You could use the light theme instead of the dark theme (chosen on the General page of Preferences) to make it easier to see.
