Custom visibility/views in Gallery View

Hi,

Let’s say you are orchestrating a piece with two ensembles (Strings and Woodwinds). As in Finale, I would like to switch back and forth between three different views ( hopefully with Key commands):

  1. View one: full orchestra
  2. View two: Woodwinds only
  3. View three: Strings only

Is it possible to achieve? If not, any other ways to focus on specific parts of the score as you orchestrate from scratch!

Any help would be much appreciated.

This is easily achievable with custom layouts. In your layouts panel in Setup mode, create layouts for only those groups of instruments. Then drag them up to the top of the list. You can navigate between layouts using key commands: Alt-Shift-brackets.
