Hi everyone, is it possible to cut a MIDI part without affecting the automation points at the place of the cut?
See the attached pictures: the first is a pre-cut MIDI part with a CC ramp, the second is a post-cut MIDI part with the ramp removed because the automation data got deleted.
I’ve tried cutting with both ‘Split MIDI Events’ and ‘Split MIDI Controllers’ activated and deactivated but neither get the result I’m looking for.
I assume because there is only one automation point there to begin with, it is included in only one of the new parts created. That said, is it possible for the automation point to get duplicated on a cut so that it appears on both of the new midi parts?
