When displaying the symbol for cut time, Dorico shows two angled lines through a capital C instead of one vertical line (so that the symbol resembles a “cent” sign.)
How do you get the single vertical line through the capital C?

This is what it looks like here with the default music font.
I wrote cutc in the measure popover.

If you want to keep the music font you use, you could go to Library->Music Symbols, and under the category Time Signatures edit the cut time glyph.

If you can post the file or pm it to me, I’ll check.

That looks like a currency symbol rather than cut time.

Library->Layout Options->Time Signatures. You use plain font.
Change to normal.
