Cutaway resets custom brackets

In a piece that includes a Mezzo-Soprano and two Alto, I added a custom bracket around these three voices. Once I introduce a cutaway, however, my custom brackets seem to be ignored.

Below, the custom brackets are shown correctly on the left side. They are unintentionally overridden on the right side – the bracket around Alto 1 and 2 in the second staff is the default when removing the “Bracket and Barline Change” flag in the first measure. Notice that it does not make a difference if I introduce the cutaway in any of the four voices.

I’m not sure if this is specific to the project or the way Dorico handles section players, but this feels like a bug to me. Feel free to check the project below.

Thank you, the engraving option indeed solved my specific issue.

I do think that this is not intended behavior, however, so I’d like to leave this thread open in case there’s someone from the dev team willing to investigate.

I am afraid that Bracket and Barline Changes do not take effect on systems where cutaways are present. This is a limitation of how cutaways work.
