Hi!
If i enable the cycle function in Cubase 13, and starts the playback in between the left and right locators, the playback just stops when it reaches the right locator. I would expect it to keep playing from the left locator.
Does anyone know how to enable that?
Thanks.
As sson as I activate the Cycle mode in the Transport bar, it works as expected, from what I have always experienced, since countless Cubase generations.
Could you post a screenshot of your arrange page with both the Transport bar and Ruler one visible ?
For sure, here you go.
Perhaps i should elaborate. If i play from the left locator, it cycles. If i place the transport in the middle and starts playback, it plays to the right locator, then stops.
Cannot reproduce, sorry. On my end, it cycles, no matter where the project cursor is placed in the cycle range before playing back and/or the Transport > Start Mode setting…
Maybe I am missing something in the preferences settings, but I suspect that, precisely, something could be wrong with them. So, maybe restarting Cubase in safe mode, with the Disable program preferences could give a kind of answer…
Have you by any chance activated a mode in the automation panel (F6)?
Thanks for giving it a try.
I tried creating an empty project, and voila - no problem. It always cycles as it should. So it seems i accidentally hit something to enable this behaviour within this project. I checked everything, but i can’t figure it out.
I guess I’ll just have to live with it until i finish this song.
I checked, and it doesn’t look like it. Good point, though.
