Dear all, does anyone know if it’s possible to create cycling zones within a project that don’t use the main locators?
I was hoping the Marker track would be the answer but if it is, I am failing to see the way.
The reason being that the main locators are already defining the exact mixdown range of the projects (9 projects) and I don’t want to have to change them if I don’t have to. Last minute tweakings going on you see.
You can do it the other way around. In the Audio Export dialog, under Range, select Cycle Markers. Now your free to use the regular locators as you please.

You could also create a cycle marker for the exact mixdown range, then it is easy to temporarily use the locators for something else and still be able to quickly set them back to your mixdown export range: select the cycle marker and hit “p” (default key command for “locators to selection”).

Many thanks, those are great suggestions and probably the way I should be doing it anyway.
