Do you have Pre Roll and Post Roll switched on?
Thank you Fenderchris-- Pre/Post roll were off. This morning, after shutting down, the issue is not repeating and is not triggered by switching on pre/post roll. It’s an old cubase project, (5 years or so), hopefully it was just an anomaly. inconsistency is the consistency
