cycle record (MIDI) with pre-roll for each stacked?

probably a daft question. So, i’m getting pre-roll for the first take - perfect for context - but subsequent stacked takes don’t provide the pre-roll.

There’s nothing illogical about Cubase’s behaviour in this respect but I wondered if I’d missed something (i.e. that it is possible for each cycle to enjoy the preroll) or if there’s a work around?

You are right, it works like this. Only the first cycle takes the pre-roll in account. You didn’t miss anything. :wink:
