just a quick note, I was reducing reverb on low-level interview recordings that I’m cleaning up for an ad campaign. All was well until all of a sudden during preview there was a super loud high-pitched noise on the left speaker of my headphone. Is this a known bug? I had a bit of tinnitus afterwards. This is super dangerous for people who rely on their ears for their livelihoods.

Hi Kaan,
Those bugs are very annoying (and can indeed be dangerous). I have the same effect when I use the “Panflute in Halion”.
It’s like a sine-wave and the volume is incredibly loud.
After finishing this reply to you, I’m going to send a ticket to Steinberg. I don’t want any ‘surprises’ when I’m searching for instruments.
