The Dark UI scheme is a bit much in the Playing Techniques editor:

Odd, I get the white grid on Windows.
It’s only in conjunction with MacOS’s own Dark Mode. If I switch to MacOS’s Light mode, I get a light background and grid.
Dorico 2 behaves correctly in either mode. D3 displays the same behaviour for Noteheads and Music Symbol Editors.
