Thanks for the mobo & DAW system datails 
I’ve been thinking about Asus for a long time, as my current older P5K Deluxe motherboard has been good to me in all those years I’ve had it. And the DPC latency has been great (10-50us) with a passive ATI x1550. I also tried a MSI GTX 450 gfxcard, but this created lots of DPC latancy. I guess the driver was badly made.
But after reading all the stuff about Gigabyte mobo’s, I may have to switch over to that side Not sure I go for the higher priced UD5 mobo. But the UD3 looks more affordable to me… just hope that the stability, features and low DPC is as good on the UD3 as what I now can read of the UD5. Don’t think the UD3 has a TI chipset, instead it has analog/digital video out on the board, which is nice.
I think I also go for a ATI gfxcard, and hope that their driver protocol for all ATI types of gfxcards, will give me low DPC latency.
