"DCOM connection program 'Synsopos.exe' failed"

“DCOM connection program ‘Synsopos.exe’ failed”

What is going on with this issue? I have it too and have not been able to fix it.
Saying it is a Windows problem, really? When no other application has this issue?

I followed Steinberg instructions that are found if you google this title. It didn’t fix it.
Now that I found out what app I have (AI) I decided to post this one more time on
this part of the forum (says Cubase LE AI Elements 10.5 when you hover the button).

Many posts come from people with the USB dongles, but the AI is a soft license.
This makes reinstalling even more troublesome, so I didn’t reinstall Cubase.

There are 235 posts, each one with many people having this problem. That
would be about a thousand users who have experienced this issue!

I run a consulting
business and can’t imagine going through this with a client, telling them they
need to edit the registry and reinstall the software while their artists wait…

I thought buying a dongle might eliminate this problem but clearly it doesn’t.
I have not been able to use Cubase for 6 months now and started using Mixbus.
Why does Steinberg sell software that you can’t use? Why don’t they fix this?

Did they fix this in the new release Cubase 11?

Hi,

Please, find the DCOM issue solution here.

This is not on Cubase side, this is on eLCC side. So there is no fix in Cubase 11. The fix has to be done in the eLCC application.
