DCOM connection to program "Synsopos.exe." failed.

I have Cubase AI5 and the latest eLC with my soft-elicenser.
Out of the blue, the program now crashes at start up with the error mentioned above.
What are my options to fix this license problem? I reinstalled both Cubase and eLicenser, tried everything on MySteinberg, but to no avail.
I need to get this fixed asap, a year’s work is on the line. Any thoughts/reccomendations?

Did you install the MOST RECENT version of the eLCC?

Yes, I did. Version: 6.6.6.2135 of the eLCC

Other than the Maintenance function in eLCC and making sure the license is displayed in eLCC, the only thing I can suggest is to contact Support.
