DDP Player Sample Rate

Can’t seem to find a solution in the forum.

I have made a DDP file set with WaveLab and wanted to check it before I sent it off for manufacturing.

My audio interface (MOTU 1248 connected via thunderbolt) is set to 44.1.

When I open DDP player, it says I have the wrong sample rate (which is not true, the interface says 44.1 on the front screen). I tried the rescan button and it says my interface is running at 96 (the front screen still says 44.1).

I ask because when I play back the DDP in the player… it has pops and skips.

Is there any work around to get the player to detect the sound card is running in 44.1?

It should work with 44.1 kHz it’s standard…
If you play a audio file before with 44.1 kHz
What happens?

If I play a 441 audio file with winamp or soundforge or whatever… it works fine.

I exported the wavs from the DDP and played them back in soundforge … they play fine. There appears to be something going on with how the DDP player is interacting with the windows audio system.

I should have mentioned I am on Win 10.

Sorry I’m on macOS and never seen this problem with DDP
it must be a Audio Device system settings somewhere in Win 10!
