Dear Steinberg, Can you please add quintuplets and septuplets on the main edit window?

I think this is long overdue,

Steinberg, please add 5/8, 5/16 and 7/8 and 7/16 quantization.

Please, it’s ridiculous to have everything else and not this option for creation of these tuplets.

And , no , I don’t want to go to the score and create them there.

Kindly,

Please take this under consideration.

Please clarify what this means… quantization is per note rhythm, not time signature. Does main edit window refer to the Key Editor or the Project Zone?

In the mean time,
Set your time signature, activate …Click Pattern Grid Line Emphasis

Also Groove Quantize Presets can be used for this type of thing as well.

Hi there, thank you for your reply.

I am not referring to time signatures, but to quantization.

When one chooses quantization then is presented with the options to set it from 1/1 to 1/64 Dotted.

I appreciate your input but these solutions still take a lot of time.

It’s too complicated.

Why? Why can’t we have the options I am proposing to show here?? :

You just need to save the quantize presets.

Options For Quantizing to a Musical Grid

Thank you, but, Steinberg has to put this option on the ‘Q’ quantization dropdown. It’s simple.

I cannot understand why they can’t implement it in all the years of updates.

Most musicians use these tuplets…

I can understand that this is finally doable, but I don’t want to do anything, I don’t want to save anything and have to enter a few windows within Cubase to finally get there.

I just want to go to ‘Q’ dropdown and choose 5/8 etc., quantization …

Try it and you’ll see.

OK, thanks, will give it a shot. I appreciate your help.
